New Clinical Trial: StrateGIST 3

We are pleased to announce the launch of StrateGIST 3, a randomized, multicenter, open-label Phase III study evaluating IDRX-42 (GSK6042981) versus sunitinib in participants with metastatic and/or unresectable gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) following prior treatment with imatinib.

About the Study

Gastrointestinal stromal tumors are the most common type of soft tissue sarcoma of the gastrointestinal tract. Although imatinib remains the standard first-line therapy, many patients eventually experience disease progression, underscoring the need for additional therapeutic strategies.
StrateGIST 3 is designed to compare the efficacy and safety of IDRX-42 with sunitinib, the current standard second-line treatment option. The study is being conducted across multiple centers.
